APCO International Awards Scholarships to 9-1-1 Emergency Communications Professionals

Alexandria, VA – The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International recently awarded close to $80,000 in scholarship awards to APCO members. The awards were administered through the APCO Commercial Advisory Council (CAC)/Silent Key Scholarship Program, making scholarship funds available to public safety communications professionals to participate in APCO Institute training.

“The APCO Scholarship Program is a valuable program allowing for our members to pursue professional development opportunities and training to enhance their careers and develop their skills,” said APCO International President Jason E. Kern, CPE. “We are truly grateful to those individuals and organizations who contributed to the scholarship fund for their generosity and support of the dedicated individuals that serve in the emergency communications profession.”
