APCO Seeks Volunteers for Revision of Standard

Alexandria, VA – The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International has extended the call for participation regarding the revision of the ANS APCO/NENA Standard for TTY/TDD Use in the Emergency Communications Center until November 22, 2023. The National Emergency Number Association (NENA)  will be the standard development organization for this joint working group revision.

APCO invites diverse participants with backgrounds in emergency communication center operations, management, technology, and general interest stakeholders to assist in the revision. The APCO Standards Development Committee limits the number of participants representing APCO to no more than 15 participants. Membership in APCO is not a requirement to participate.
