Tiffany Nicole Gibbs, assistant communications supervisor, Orange County (North Carolina) Emergency Services, passed away August 22. Gibbs, 40, of Burlington, was a North Carolina APCO member.
Gibbs was known for her unwavering dedication and calmness during emergencies. Her commitment to her work saved countless lives and brought comfort to those in distress. Her tireless efforts were greatly appreciated by colleagues and the community she served.
Gibbs began her career in service as a teenager, working as a medical assistant for Forest Hills Pediatrics for over 10 years with her mother and for the Hospital Police at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro. After a move to Neuse Correctional Institution, she completed her master’s degree in emergency services.
Gibbs is survived by her wife Nichole Belinda Gibbs; children Malachi Gibbs, Gavin Gibbs and Aliviyah Gibbs; sister Natalia Muse; brothers Philip Gibbs III, Jonathan Rivera and Joshua Gibbs; and father Philip Gibbs Jr.
